What are neodymium magnets?

Neodymium magnets are made from neodymium (Nd), iron (Fe) and boron (B) and are the strongest magnets that currently exist. The energy product of neodymium magnets is eight times stronger than that of anisotropic ferrite magnets and they have excellent mechanical strength. Since they rust easily, they are normally surface treated with nickel plating. The disadvantages of neodymium magnets are that they sensitive to heat and require careful handling. They are used widely for industrial products and in daily items such as clothing and household products. How neodymium magnets are used

Magnets that are made for general purposes can be used for a wide range of usages and depending on how they are used, they can be used for almost anything. The strongest existing magnet is the neodymium magnet. Its amazing magnetism is utilized in industrial products such as separators, tooling machinery, industrial robots, MRI, speakers and computer hard disks.

Improving fuel efficiency of cars

It is considered that fuel efficiency improves by attaching a neodymium magnet to the fuel pipe.
Although it has not been scientifically proven and the results may be subjective, it does seem to be effective.

Magnetic water rejuvenator

Water will taste milder if a neodymium magnet is placed below it or over it.
Although there is considered to be a scientific reason for this, the effect is not proven as the results will be subjective.

Medical equipment

Neodymium magnets are widely used for muscle tension in the shoulders and lower back pain.
The magnetic flux density for medical equipment as set forth by the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act is 35mT to 200mT.
The surface magnetic flux density of neodymium magnets will exceed this so adjustment will be required.
